Register as an EBT/Pay Later customer

Some markets now accept Electronic Benefit Transfer (EBT) payments at some of their pickup locations. If you are an EBT recipient and your preferred pickup location accepts EBT, you can order from FarmDrop using that form of payment. After registering as an EBT customer, you would shop and place items in your cart normally. At checkout, a list of pickup locations within your market that accept EBT will be displayed, from which you can select your preferred location. No payment will be required on the payment screen, but you will need to bring your EBT card to pickup and pay there.

To pay with EBT, you must first register as an EBT customer. Even if you are already registered as a regular customer, you will need to register again as an EBT customer, which you can do as follows.

If you are already logged in, click Logout in the main navigation and then Get Started in the popup window.

If you are not logged in, click Login in the main navigation.

Select your FarmDrop market in the registration form. If that market accepts EBT payments, a checkbox will appear that allows you to indicate that you'd like to use that form of payment. If the checkbox does not appear, the selected market does not accept EBT.

Once registered, the EBT user will not have the option of using any form of payment other than EBT. If you'd like to use EBT sometimes and other forms of payment at other times, you will need to maintain two customer accounts and switch between them as necessary.

After placing items in your cart and proceeding to checkout, you'll be presented with a list of pickup locations that accept EBT, from which you can select your preferred location.

No payment is required on the payment screen. Instead, you'll need to bring your EBT card to pickup and use it for your purchase.
