How to package orders

  1. Each customer order should be in its own bag, with a Customer Order Report label adhered to the outside of bag.

The Customer Order Report can be used for when you are packing items for retail-ready customer order fulfillment at the hub.

  2. All customer orders for one hub should be in its own bigger bag, with that hubs Aggregate Report PDF adhered to that hub bag.

Producers use the Aggregate Report > All Markets to collect, pick or harvest, and also to pack their products by market hub.

If you only sell on one market, the Aggregate Report is what you might use as a Pick List to harvest or collect your items, you might want to have it in the field with you and use it to pack the market hub specific product.

  3. Please utilize proper coolers and ice packs for refrigerated and frozen items when being transported.
  4. When delivering items to the hub/aggregate locations, each customer bag should be easy to locate and add to the customers order on the table/cooler, by locating the hub bag, and then each order by its customer label.
  5. Orders that are being aggregated move on to their final hub location in similar fashion as above. Hub managers will then complete the packaging/organizing to get ready for customer pick up.
  6. When the hubs are open for customer pick up, each order will be clearly marked with the customers info including their order number, their contact information and a full receipt of items ordered. (If there were any errors in orders, that would be added as a note to the customer’s receipt.)
